The District will do what some of you know as “REVERSE PSYC” . There will be two options. They will make it sound as if you HAVE TO pick one or the other, but you can say NO to both.
One option will be to extend the current rate of levy. The second option will be some derivative or alternate tax hike. Either way, they will pull the obligatory heart strings– make you feel guilty trip and opine how all the little ones will suffer. You know the routine, No books, No shoes, No food, No teachers, No heat.
Start NOW and write to your new duly elected board to NOT COUNT IT–start saving their nickles and dimes, because this economy is a long way from recovery.
There is a great probability that there could be another recession due to the European economy meltdown occurring now and other giant fiscal messes we have to fix.
Unemployment in my humble but correct mind will not get below 8% this time next year.
