!st off it’s not an assault rifle! It’s a semi auto rifle that LOOKS like a military rifle. The way they are classifying them makes my 35 year old .22 squirrel gun illegal. 2nd if they are for military use , why do cops need them? 3rd Because it a right, To Protect from Enemies Foreign and Domestic. 4th. Last time in 1994 we compromised, they kept taking. Next handguns, then shotguns, then freedom of speech! A bolt action has to the trigger pulled each shot, lever action is the same way..This is so much crap THAT NUT Phyllis Kahn serving her 21st term. What the hell? There’s the problem.

Now I see that the once high and mighty touted community center was about to close, but given a reprieve???? Don’t think for one second that the city administrator gives one god dam thing abut this city. He decided to make it his home carrier in bludgeoning us to death with his wage and benefit package like Hector vs Achilles. NSP is easy pickings for this NARCISSISTIC swaggering despot. Plus, after ruining this city for 16 years who will take him? NONE! So we will have to wait until the goof balls in the city council wake up, that’s a QUANTIFIABLE unlikely proposition, or hopefully he dies a natural death, because he intends to add his legacy to the plunder of the employee legacy. This city is like a mild canker sore in the middle of a GIANT cancer. I am surprised people like Madoff and this POS don’t get don’t ever run over by accident (well Madoff met Karma), instead the innocent children and decent people of the world have to suffer under ONE MAN. Oh, I forgot maybe they need to keep it open for a while for the Collective Bargaining to go through so all the employes can keep their membership. HELL YA, those city workers got to get their shit right?

I applaud Wayne L. for keeping his cool under pressure. And for sticking to our guns. Why can’t liberals put the guns where their mouth is. Liberal media destroys more in this country than lives. I pray NRA and America stands strong on our 2nd Amendment rights, criminals and mentally disturbed are the ones that need regulation and penalizing, not law abiding citizens and hunters. I hunt with my AR15, it’s not an automatic weapon, It only shoots when I pull the trigger. Same as most leagal people’s without a Class III license. So far no one has gone crazy with a Class III weapon as far as I know. Soldiers have automatics for people not in the know, not semi automatics. You’d think some of them (liberals) would at least read up on guns before the open their mouths. For gun owners it easy to see which are really gun stupid!!! And for them we just can’t fix stupid!!!!

Most of us who grew up in parts of the country when guns were ubiquitous and people were, strangely enough, rarely shot in theatres or schools can only note the change in our society with great concern. It is probable that a smaller proportion of the population owns guns today. This is especially in highly-regulated localities, where (strangely enough) most incidents of mass gun-related violence seem occur. We have declared many places off-limits to gun possession. Yet, there appears to be a greater incidence of events such as those at Newtown. I say “appears” because I lack hard numbers and repetitive media coverage affects our perception of the frequency with which events occur (the “milk carton effect”).

The evidence strongly argues that the root cause of the violence is not its means. Regardless of whether one likes Mr Lapierre or the NRA, they have the better part of the argument. We expose mentally unstable, emotionally disturbed, or simply immature people to highly violent or sexualized content and expect no pathological outcomes. We claim absolute individualism with little or no culturally-imposed limits and expect what? As long as these conditions prevail, Mr Lapierre is right – there is a need for someone with a gun to stop any deranged person with a gun or machette or propane cylinder or…

There was not one word of your ideological affiliation which if you took the time to read is one of a “Watch Dog”, “Whistle Blower” Independent conservative in this city. What can you contribut about this city, state and so on? Your statement seems cogent, but is vague regarding your political ideology.
