What Tortured Hate Filled Invectives Will Senator Harry Reid Say About This $25 Million Donation?

Senate Satan

Senate Satan (DFL) Harry Reid

Senator Harry Reid is absolutely obsessed. Obsessed with Charles and David, the Koch Brothers. Countless times in recent weeks, the Senate Majority Leader has taken to the chamber floor to attack, denounce and vilify the billionaire brothers.

As Fox News reports:

Reid’s over-the-top invectives have ranged from “Senate Republicans…are addicted to Koch, “ to “These two brothers don’t like government,” “The Koch Brothers and other moneyed interests are influencing the political process for their own benefit,” and “The Republicans in the Senate go along with what the Koch brothers want.”

It really is a disturbing pattern of personal attack — bordering on abuse of power — unbecoming of the most influential Democrat lawmaker on Capitol Hill.
For those who may not know, the Kochs philanthropic giving ranges from such causes as cancer research to the New York City Ballet. And now, another huge donation that confounds the Left’s characterization of the Kochs as greedy, capitalist pigs.

Details from breitbart.com:

…the Koch brothers have donated $25 million to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the foremost source of financial support to African-American student.
According to Koch Industries, Inc., the donation will also help fund 37 historically black colleges, which have struggled with financial shortfalls in recent years.
“We are enormously grateful to Koch Industries and the Charles Koch Foundation for their long-standing support of UNCF and for helping to create new opportunities for earned success and a better future for our students,” said UNCF president and CEO Dr. Michael Lomax.

And in case Reid and his willing accomplices in the left-leaning media try to contend this is some kind of emergency offering by the Kochs to counter all the bad press, breitbart.com points out:

The $25 million donation to the UNCF is not a one-time gift aimed at easing public scrutiny, but is in fact the continuation of a long association between Koch-owned companies and the organization.

Still, we’re quite sure Harry Reid will continue his manic attacks on the Koch brothers as he and fellow Democrats become evermore desperate about prospects of losing control of the Senate.
