What a disgraceful display on the part of this president…I feel sort of embarrassed for him, but I come back to the realization that being a dyed in the wool Marxian and statist is a mental disorder, he can’t really help himself, and they have yet to find a cure for that. Why would abusing kids like this matter? He is liar and that is all that needs to be said about him, phony tears and media stunts.
I thought after Obama’s narrow victory over Mitt Romney; having conducted the dirtiest political campaign I think in American history, that the politics would stop or slow down, well, not so. Not only has it not stopped but Obama has ramped it up, gone into overdrive to destroy, and deride the republican party; hunkering down and retreating into a cold and ruthless slime-ball. Obama is starting to look like that weirdo, dark loner creep Richard Nixon. This president is governing by edict, demagoging relentlessly, looking more like a totalitarian or king than a leader of a free people; republic of states. He will not outdo himself, or will he? Today’s press conference was really a strange, shameless and exploitative use of children, and I found it hard to watch with that backdrop of giggling children. The spectacle that played out before my eyes was mind boggling and was painful to watch, not in an empathetic way. Why should children be subject to this type theatrical staged nonsense; about something so complicated and tragic? Really? The liberals would argue that W. Bush did the same thing with no child left behind, but this not even close to the same thing. I suppose you have to give them credit for always being perfectly PC, the children after all were nicely culled out in gender and diversity in color, which made for a well orchestrated dog and pony show.
Obama the consummate hypocrite, “never wastes a crisis moment”. I think he was way the hell over the top on this today, and they all should be ashamed of themselves. Joe Biden is a stooge, so I will cut him some slack even though he claimed to have talked to 240 groups and the net result is a full frontal naked attack on the NRA and law abiding gun owners. Obama has all these czars, commissions, and task forces and so on, but never listens to any of them. I really believe he now on a giant power trip and has turned into even a more narcissistic, wannabe tyrant. He is a legend in his own mind certainly. SIR! You don’t take advice form children…Parents where are you? You should have said no that game.
Then he signed some 23 not completely released, explained or understood executive orders this morning. Is Obama walking the tight rope of being impeached? Former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese III, who served under President Reagan, says President Obama could be impeached by Congress if he enacted gun control through executive order.
“Nothing the President is proposing would have stopped the massacre at Sandy Hook. President Obama is targeting the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens instead of seriously addressing the real underlying causes of such violence,”
Obama staff also wouldn’t say whether any of the steps the president is recommending would have prevented the massacre at Sandy Hook and other recent mass shootings. He invoked some other school shootings but left out one big one, the Forte Hood shooting, why? What’s the difference? I will tell you…a Muslim psychiatrist.
Obama once again by total hypocrisy and irony said: he will ask Attorney General Eric Holder to take a “fresh look” into whether the categories of people prohibited from buying firearms needs to be expanded or updated. Maybe Holder should stops giving arms to drug cartels and then charging himself with gun running and the murder of a boarder agent. That should be his first move, show us how serious the president is by turning himself to nearest sheriff. I would suspect a few would accommodate this crony loser.
Don’t be surprised if you see Obama go on a another sweeping campaign style trip to key states and regions to push his ant-gun agenda BS. That will be another 1/2 a billion dollars in tax payer money down the drain. Maybe he can take that money and all the other wasted money he plans going after the ghost assault weapon, and set up retirement funds and seed money for those kids that won’t have any social security or standard of living worth a dam because they will be saddled with a million dollar per head national debt burden.
For all you yellow, hand wringing progressive liberals that don’t have one gram of common sense I challenge you, those of you who hate guns, and will not have anything to do with them, I say, put a sign in your front yard or your front door saying—”THIS IS A GUN FREE ZONE”. You won’t because you are hypocrites and live double standards everyday of your miserable God, freedom and gun hating lives. If you hate guns and claim America is on your side so much just get it repealed, but you know you can’t. Most Americans that have a brain know how important that amendment is, and what the truth is. Do you really want to listen to that liar Obama on anything? Just go back over his life and count the hundreds of lies.
If I could give a loaded handgun or rifle with a 30 round magazine to every citizen in North Korea, millions of Koreans would be free and not likely to be living out their lives in modern day Gulags. Gun ownership is not about hunting but about keeping tyranny from taking hold.—That’s what you need to know Mr. Obama, that’s the truth.
The purpose of the Second Amendment is to arm people in order to prevent future tyranny. They need the tools to do this.
The term “Well Regulated” in the Second Amendment meant “Well Manned and Equipped” in 1791 as was determined in the 1939 United States v. Miller case after referencing the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The concept of Government Regulation, as we understand it today, did not exist at the time.
United States v. Miller also determined that the term “Arms” refers to “Ordinary Military Weapons” (not crew operated). American Citizens have the right to Keep and Bear, which means Own and Carry, any weapons that a soldier carries into battle. That includes past, present and future weapons. A Militia consisted of armed volunteers willing to fight with their personal arms and not under government control.
To limit the Second Amendment to muskets would be the equivalent of limiting the First Amendment to writings in quill pens.
