Our Politicians Abuse The Public Trust–Starts At Home

Politicians have abandoned their public trust. Likewise, Americans have abandoned  or dissembled the meaning of God or a higher providence, have abandoned  self-reliance, governance and shirk necessary responsibilities, lost their way knowing what the capital T truth is along with character and morals that have guided us for hundreds of years.

Just look at your own city. Some say I hate my city. I argue that I care deeply for it, or I would just leave. leaving or quitting  is the cowards way out.  Why won’t you stand up and fight as well? I can’t answer that. The answer will find you. You might not like it.

But you and I are not off the hook either. We have sold out the futures of our children for all types of worldly lusts and greed. We chased after immediate gratifications and have lived in wretched excess with a who gives-a-shit selfish attitude.  Some people worse than others, but we are all guilty. Don’t even pretend your exempt or try to rationalize it away, it won’t go away….We have to face it.

In our great new progressive world we don’t manufacture anything  here anymore and we have no decent, real  jobs left, while China is growing and adding jobs by the 10’s of millions.  You did it to yourself people and you did it to your neighbor and your friends. You just didn’t care, or maybe you were just too busy. You put your neighbor out of work, yes you did, and then your other neighbor put you out work. And now many are all mortified, livid and upset.

Take responsibility…We are broke. And yet the money is flowing out the back door by  the Trillions out of this country. Who has to pay when there is nothing more to take?  This could end real bad or maybe we can snap out of it. Something has to give.

First of all, the Federal, State and local governments are going to have to take wage cuts and join the rest of the suffering crowd as Rome burns or we WILL NOT SURVIVE as a REPUBLIC. Maybe that was the plan along…

Stealing from future generations:

Our leaders have Abandoned the Enumerated powers which is listed and found in Article 1 Section 8 of the United States Constitution.

In recent history, Congress has tended to spend and regulate without reference to specific enumerated powers. According to some conservatives, this state of affairs largely began with the appointment of Supreme Court justices during the Great Depression who were in agreement with President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal programs. However, some liberals regard this position as overstated and as revisionist history, as President Roosevelt appointed only one justice in the entire decade of the 1930s.

These thing were set in motion long ago and continue today. Are we on the Titanic playing musical chairs, thinking if you get the right seat you won’t drown?  Not enough life boats?  Can we ever build enough life boats to save this Titanic mess and keep or freedom and liberties alive? It’s back to you and I, isn’t it?  We make the choice, we can get off of auto-pilot, we can steer clear of the iceberg can’t we? Never quit, never surrender, if their are those who want to cause us to stumble push them out of our way. We are the ones, we are the caretakers of the last lands that God almighty and providence has shown us a  clear way to.

Those of us who lean on the more strict interpretation of the constitution oppose the current tampering via judicial and social re-engineering, believing that the central government cannot act without specific Constitutional authority. Often the “plain meaning of the text,” the Tenth Amendment, and the writings of some Framers of the Constitution are used support their argument. Conversely, However the statists loose constructs of the constitution sometimes endorse Congressional action beyond the specifically enumerated powers, believing that the central government has historically addressed social, economic, and environmental issues that were unforeseen by the framers of the Constitution–just make it up as we go along. They often reference the Preamble to the United States Constitution, Taxing and Spending Clause, the Necessary and Proper Clause, and the Commerce Clause to support their belief in a larger role for federal authority. These are the deleterious forms of divisive thoughtless type drones that entertain the cerebral black robed Nero’s and their social progressive engineering minions.

As a  republic will we fail? They all have so far. Why should we be the exception? We have become so deluded that I am not sure there is a come back.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

“Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage”. –Author unknown
